About:
Due to some problems in our old hosting plan (Windows hosting plan), we decided to ask our hosting provider to change it to Linux Hosting.
Now, everything is working well, including the use of CMS (Before I am having problem installing Joomla, but NOW it is perfectly installed ^_^). With the use of CMS, it makes our job easier and faster.
New Features:
1. Member Registration – To download MORE files, we recommend our visitors to register. You can still download files, but there are mp3 and other files that only registered member can view. (For non-registered member) Right now, in the j-music category, you can only view the “Random J-music”, but if you will register, there are more files that you can see and most of them are full album collections (Sorted according to their artist). So what are you waiting? Register an account NOW ^_^
2. Live Chat – Chat with your fellow members and visitors, No Registration needed to chat with us. There are 6 available chatroom, enter which room do you think is suited for you. In there, we expect everyone to strictly follow the rules and regulation of AK (Read it first! ) The rules given is not only for our forum, but also for the whole site. The only thing that change is the penalty. Since we cannot ban your account (If you are a non-registered member), but we can still ban your IP address. There will be NO WARNING! So always remember to follow the rules and regulation!
3. Shout Box – Same rules with the Live Chat but this is exclusive for registered members ONLY!
4. Articles – AK Articles are made to inform everybody about a specific topic. Please don’t forget to add a picture of your topic in submitting an article.
a. Anime Info – All Information regarding a specific Anime will be posted in here, whether it is a Preview, Review or whatever (Anime News must be posted in the News Articles). I know some are not that good in making reviews and etc (And I am one of them ^_^). That is why we are allowing, everyone to post an article copied from other site. But the main condition is to PUT A LINK BACK to the site where you got those information as a credit for them. Well… AK Article purpose is to inform, that is why as long as it is informative and not violating the rules, we will gladly post it in our site.
b. Manga Info – Same as the Anime Info, but it focuses on the Manga Series.
c. J-Drama Info – Same again, but it focuses on the different J-Drama Series/Movies/etc.
d. J-music Info – Same again, but it focuses on the different Japanes Music, Band, Artist or whatever that has an involvement with Japanese Music.
e. News – You can find here the latest happening around Japan and of course latest news about our beloved Anime ^_^
f. Members Article – All submitted Article will be posted in here. If the members Article is related with the list of category mentioned above, that article will be also available in that Category. We accept any article even though it is not related with the category mentioned above, just remember to follow the rules and regulation of AK, otherwise it will not be accepted. Before your article appear in the “Members Article” Category, the admin will first review whether it is following the rules and regulation, so keep in mind to follow the rules ^_^
5. FAQs and Guides – The FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) is common in all websites, I am not gonna explain further about it. The Guide is a new features, were I will be posting simple guides on how to get around the AK Community specially made for newbiews. I will be using images to explain everything in an easier manner ^_^ But currently I am not yet done making it due a lot of work in updating this site. Just tune in for it.
6.Accounts – This is were you will find the list of accounts of AK in other website such us friendster, multiply and etc. We are not yet done fixing and arranging those account but you can now start visiting it.
7. User Menu – You can access here some available Menus for registered members. The Current Menus are; Your Details (Name, E-mail, Username, etc), Submit an Article (It is where you can type and send your Article, to be posted in the “Members Article” Category and to be reviewed by the admin before it appear in the site. Don’t forget to add an image/picture of your topic) and last is the Logout.
